Conference Room Rental

Located at 1209 Main Street (south entrance), the Business Center conference room has wireless internet (WiFi), white board, TV / Chromecast / projector / speaker hook-ups, coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, sink, counter, accessible restroom, and easy-to-move tables and chairs.

Consider the Lake Region Business Center as your ‘office for a day’ when visiting family in the area and still need a connection to the office. Rental cost varies but is free for local non-profit / community groups.

History 

In June 2011, Webster Area Development Corporation purchased the former Vocational Education Center and began a transformation (View photos here: Facebook page). By 2012, GROW South Dakota moved into our first renovated office space, and the Legion baseball team utilized a space for their indoor batting facility.

In 2016, we renovated a portion of the building to house the field office for Big Stone South to Ellendale transmission line construction project. The Legion baseball team built a new indoor batting facility near Bob Wiley Baseball Complex.

In 2017, we collaborated with Webster Area School, Waubay School, and several industry partners to expand career and technical education at the Business Center. We also renovated office and studio space for Tailfeather Photography. Both can be accessed through the north entrance.




In 2018, Webster Area Chamber of Commerce moved into the office space formerly leased to GROW SD, who added another staff person and moved into a renovated space on Main Street Webster.
